2025 will be the 21st Edition of the BC Safety Committee Conference, Canada’s largest occupational health & safety event designed specifically for joint health & safety committees. The 2024 conference was a great success, and 2025 is looking to be even better. It includes a blend of keynote speaker, breakout sessions and a tabletop safety tradeshow – this event is aimed at everyone from the newest safety committee member to the most experienced one. There is even an optional full day of OSH courses following the conference.

2025 BC Safety Committee Conference Coming Oct. 21, 2025

Coming October 21, 2025 to the Langley Conference Centre is 2025 Safety Committee Conference. Designed to both education your committee members and to help employers comply with WorkSafeBC’s mandatory 8 hours of annual training leave for Safety Committee members requirement the 2025 event will be THE place for all your Safety Committee needs. Oct. 21 is the main day, with a full day of safety committee education sessions full of “take-aways” to help your committee be all it can be. The optional second day (October 22) will feature at least 2 full day OSH courses with at least 1 being the Fundamentals for Joint Health & Safety Committees course that is mandatory for all new safety committee members. More details will be coming in the summer but watch this space for more information.
